Friends Call to Action
1. Support Friends friendly candidates by:
A. Voting and encouraging (email, Friends website, telephone, PTA, social gatherings, etc) family members, friends, and coworkers to join the Friends and to vote for our candidates,
B. making financial contributions (it costs $5-20K to fund a campaign) to and holding fundraisers (wine tasting, dinner party, etc) for our candidates, and
C. donating printing services, stamp licking, placing signs, etc. for our candidates. Contact the Friends
2. Support Christine Discoe in a very tough race for Redmond City Council by:
A. Voting and encouraging (email, Friends website, telephone, PTA, social gatherings, etc) family members, friends, and coworkers to join the Friends and to vote for her,
B. making financial contributions (it costs $5-20K to fund a campaign) to and holding fundraisers (wine tasting, dinner party, etc) for her, and

3. If you have a candidate you would like the Friends to endorse or would like to help out, contact the Friends.
4. Volunteer to be on Bellevue's West Lake Sammamish Parkway Alternatives Analysis Project and represent cycling issues on their Transportation Commission:
WLSP study:
- 40-50 people total, many lakeside residents so we need to make sure our interests are represented
- Bellevue resident a plus
- 4-5 mtngs 2-4 hrs between Nov and Apr when a proposal for WLSP improvements will be taken to council

Bellevue Transp Commission:
- Bellevue resident who is a cycling advocate sought
- Currently meet 2-4 hrs 2nd and 4th Thurs eves
- 4 yr term
